Kendamil Goat vs Organic: Understanding the Differences
By Kendamil Ghana · Updated · 5 min read
The difference between Kendamil Goat and Kendamil Organic is the animal the milk comes from. Goat is made with whole A2 goat milk and goat whey. Organic is made with certified organic whole cow's milk. Both are whole-milk formulas with no palm oil or fish oil.

What is different about goat milk?
According to Kendamil, goat milk differs from cow's milk in a few ways:
- A2 protein. Goat milk mainly contains A2 beta-casein, a type of protein Kendamil describes as closer to the proteins in breast milk.
- Softer curds. In the stomach, goat milk forms smaller, softer curds than cow's milk.
- Whey added back. Goat milk is naturally casein-dominant, so Kendamil adds goat whey to make the formula whey-dominant, like breast milk.
- Oligosaccharides. Goat milk naturally contains oligosaccharides, and Kendamil Goat also has added GOS.
Some parents try goat milk formula for a baby with a sensitive tummy. Every baby is different, though, and a change of formula should always be discussed with your healthcare professional first.
What is different about Kendamil Organic?
Kendamil Organic uses the same whole-milk recipe as Kendamil Classic, made with organic cow's milk certified by the EU organic scheme and the Soil Association. Organic farming has strict animal welfare rules and excludes GMOs and most synthetic pesticides. For the full Organic vs Classic comparison, see Kendamil Organic vs Classic.
